Tour Overview
Sometimes, you just need to get out of the city — clear your head, breathe fresh air, and feel like time has slowed down a bit. That’s what a day trip to Sariska feels like. No tight schedules, no rush — just the open road, dusty trails, quiet temples, and a jungle that holds more than just animals.
This isn’t one of those over-packed tours where you’re ticking boxes. It’s more like a slow drift through the Aravallis. You’ll start early while Jaipur is still stretching and yawning. By the time you’re rolling toward Sariska, the city noise fades out and village life takes over — mustard fields, roadside chai stalls, cows that walk like they own the highway.
You’ll hit Sariska by mid-morning, and whether or not a leopard decides to show up, the forest itself feels alive. After that, it’s about finding small surprises — a quiet temple high up in the hills, a fort with views that make you stop talking, and maybe even a nap under a tree after lunch.
By the time you head back to Jaipur in the evening, you’re dusty, tired, and a bit quieter than before. That’s a good thing. It means you actually felt something today.

Tour Itinerary and Time:
- A Real Day Out from Jaipur – To Sariska, With Stories in the Air – Sometimes, you just want to get out — no maps, no strict plans, just the road and a change of pace. Sariska isn’t far, but it feels like a world apart. If you’re up for a quiet kind of day with wild air and old stones, this one’s for you.
- Early Morning – 6:00 AM – Someone honks lightly outside your gate. The streets are still yawning. The city hasn’t quite woken up. With a half-smile and sleep still in your eyes, you hop in. The air is still cool, and for once, there’s no rush.
- Drive Begins – 7:30 AM – Bit by bit, Jaipur fades in the rearview. Trees start to line the road. A tea stall flashes by. Some sleepy cows cross the road like they own it. It’s the kind of drive where you just lean back, maybe play a song or two, and let your mind go quiet.
- In Sariska – Around 9:00 AM – The air smells different here. The road narrows, and the jungle leans in. You might spot a deer, or nothing at all — but even the silence feels alive. Wind in the trees, bird calls, and no buildings in sight. Just space.
- Lunch – 12:30 PM – By now your stomach growls louder than the jeep. You stop at a modest roadside eatery — chipped tables, a friendly cook, and plates that come out steaming. Roti, dal, maybe some rice. Simple, hot, perfect.
- Temple Time – 1:30 PM – Neelkanth isn’t flashy. No boards, no crowd, no selfies. It’s a stone temple tucked between hills, quiet as a breath. A place where even your footsteps feel loud. You don’t say much here. You just… sit.
- Fort Visit – 2:30 PM – Up ahead, Kankwadi Fort appears like a story waiting to be heard. Climb a little. The wind’s stronger up here. Look out across the trees, listen to the quiet. Maybe someone tells you an old tale, maybe not. Still, the view says enough.
- Back to Jaipur – Around 4:00 PM – The road back feels softer now. No one says much. Tired but content. Heads nod off. The car hums along. There’s a kind of peace in the tiredness after a good day.
- Home – Close to 5:30 PM – You’re back where you started. Just dust on your shoes, maybe a few photos, and that strange calm that stays with you when the city returns — but you don’t.
