There’s nothing quite like spotting a leopard in the wild — it stops you in your tracks.
So I went to this place in Jaipur called Jhalana Safari — didn’t expect much at first, but it turned out to be pretty cool. The area’s big, like 30-something square km, and yeah, they’ve got leopards. Didn’t see one up close, but I did catch a glimpse from a distance. Saw some jackals, deer, a few monkeys too. It’s kind of peaceful out there — way quieter than the city. If you like nature and want something chill, this spot’s worth checking out.

Along the way, you might catch a flash of a hyena, or see deer grazing quietly under the trees.
Your guide isn’t just a driver — they’re storytellers who know the forest inside out.
Riding through the dusty trails in an open jeep, the silence of the forest wraps around you.
As the sun rises or dips behind the Aravallis, the sky turns gold — and for a moment, everything feels still.
